My Journey

I’m a reformed workaholic and career junky who through a series of setbacks and burnout, came to my wits end and started seriously pondering the age-old question; “what is the meaning of life?”

Though I was good at being busy and hustling for the sake of it, I felt so empty. No amount of to-dos could extinguish the soul-deep hole burgeoning in my chest. I constantly questioned, what is my purpose? What matters to me and why? What am I ultimately working towards?

I knew the answer was bigger than a career, retirement and death. It had to be, I felt so sure that it was.

Thankfully, it did not take long for the Lord to come and fill that hole. He provided meaning and purpose in the most profound ways. For the first time in my life, instead of feeling like I always had to be on the go – rushing to go nowhere – I was able to slow down. To stop. To breathe and take in the world around me.

I learned to treasure the mundane; the smallest kindness and reminder of His grace that covers us. I realized that the tug of war inside of me what a battle between becoming who the world (made up of teachers, bosses, media, culture, etc.), said I should be and the part of me who already knew who(se) I am.

In this blog I share practical advice for unlearning worldly doctrines of career and life success while embarking on a journey of becoming who God has pre-ordained you to be.

With equal fervor, I use my decade long personal and professional experience in project management to provide planning and organizing tools, tips and guides that complement the overall quest towards stewardship of our bodies, lives, and resources.

There’s a lot of freedom in unlocking yourself in the Most High. My prayer is that this biblically-based guidance offers you soul-deep solutions that change your life forever, like they have mine!
